DESCRIPTION:

The Double Dutch Cardigan is the perfect layering piece to add to your child’s wardrobe. Pattern includes a version for girls and boys. It pairs perfectly with many other The Cottage Mama Sewing Patterns. Both boy and girl cardigans are constructed from knit fabric for ultimate comfort. The girly version has sweet, feminine details and will not only keep your child warm, it will add to her style as well. The boy version uses the elbow patches and eliminates the girly ruffles. You can get creative by adding or subtracting some of the garment details such as elbow patches, ruffles, multiple patterned fabrics in addition to adding unique appliqués (appliqué sets sold separately).

This pattern is for confident beginner sewists and if you’ve never sewn with knits, now is your chance!

Cardigan Pattern includes size 6 Month through 10 Years.

Suggested Fabrics: 100% Cotton Interlock, Jersey Knit (with at least 5% spandex).
